CREATING A VISION….

THE REBIRTH — Project ELEVATION.

The funny thing about pursuing your dream is that after a period of time you consistently question your place…your thought process…your point of view.  Which I think is good, but it’s also very depreciating in a way that you won’t realize if you don’t have someone to pull you back from the edge.  You can prepare yourself that it’s all subjective and everything is not going to be appreciated by every body.  Every one has a different level of taste…what may be acceptable culturally on one hand, may not be full view on the other.  It’s been my journey to be appreciated as a designer.  Just a designer.  Creative Director…a woman of many ideas and working hard to bring them to fruition.  In my journey over the last couple of months…I’ve actually gotten to a point where I have found a level of confidence in my work and my process that I hope to permeate through all of my endeavors.  I am looking to stay true to my art form which is fashion, but explore other aspects of art i.e. Photography, Painting, Collage, Sculpture, Funiture making, Jewelry…and what I WILL remember is that my process/my aesthetic is mine.

The way I deliver my vision is what makes it mine and I will continue to do so…It will continue to grow me as an artist.  It is not my vision to conform to what the masses want, but to encourage the masses to see things my way…
